BIO

I'm a freelance photojournalist, writer, photographer, audio and video producer with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Convergent Media and a Photography minor from Morehead State University.

My education and experience including working as the managing editor for the Morehead State online newspaper The Trail Blazer, head videographer and video consultant for the Morehead State University Alumni Relations office, and working as a public affairs officer for the Cadet Summer Training program at Fort Knox, Ky. I've also worked as a stringer for the Associated Press.

My work as been published in the Army.mil website, The Daily Independent, Boone County Recorder, Inscape, WMKY, and MSPR. My awards and scholarships include the Associated Press Tom Peterson Memorial Scholarship in 2020, Society of Professional Journalists Bluegrass Chapter Mike Farrell Memorial Journalism Scholarship, and third place in General News Image Category at Kentucky News Photographer Association in 2021.

My desire and driving force is to tell the stories that each individual holds. I want to help create these lasting memories and document their stories through a visual medium. I believe it is important to give the most accurate and unbiased account of any story to capture the true essence of the piece and the person.
